AnnaLis Gadea
"Whatever I cannot describe in words, I express in my images. My images simply originate because I have to paint - from the feeling of love, hope, happiness, joy, sadness, anger, chaos, longing....I paint intuitively, without an intellectual intention."

Works
The first works of AnnaLis Gadea originate from 1968. During a period of a good half century more than 1'500 paintings and drawings arose. These were shown in about 30 expositions.
Almost the same amount of studies and imagens were made as templates for painting courses and painting trips, during the period from 1986 until 2018. 
Starting in 1990 she began with her diaries - small paintings and drawings. The first diaries where done on a weekly basis, later on each Month had is own book.


Curriculum vitae
AnnaLis Gadea was born in 1946 and lives in Lucerne, Switzerland  (most of the time, there were two short intermissions).
She studied in the arts school ("Kunstgewerbeschule") and succesfully had an apprenticeship as a designer. Between 1968 and 1986 she had her own design studio.
In 1971 she married with Adolfo Gadea. They influenced each other in the creative process.
After many years, between 1989 and 1998, they showed their works in joint exhibitions.
The reason for that was a good one: the birth of their twins in 1976.
After Adolfo's death in 2000 the style of AnnaLis changed. Vegetative, organic and abstract designs where en vogue. Since 2001 she presents her works periodically on single exhibitions.

The Web-Gallery shows  images in acryl, egg tempera, aquarel and gouache, pencil-drawings, color pencil drawings as well as photo postprocessings. The works are presented in themes and/or in the level of abstraction.
